I was supposed to be taking my son to Race Retro to see some rally cars in action but, sadly, it was cancelled due to flooding. He asked to go to Caffeine and Machine instead, so we dropped in for a couple of hours over lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon. It was a Japanese themed day, with plenty of Subaru Imprezas about, but there were also half a dozen Ferraris and the new Aston Martin DB12 (amongst others).

Motorcycle Racing Photography Part 1 - The Action, Drama and Glamour

466 images presented in a slideshow format from my three seasons working as a photographer in the British Superbike, World Superbike and MotoGP Championships (2007-2009 inclusive). This is the first of a planned series of videos and you'll find pictures of racing action, dramatic accidents and crashes, behind the scenes shot and, of course, the glamourous grid girls.

Motorbike racing's biggest stars appear, with the likes of Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, James Toseland, Peter Hickman, Shane Byrne, James Hillier, Troy Bayliss, Troy Corser, Guy Martin, Cal Crutchlow, Jonathan Rea, Michael Rutter, John McGuinness (and many more) all making appearances.

None of the riders shown crashing sustained serious injuries.

A car meeting celebrating lowered cars ("Praise the Lowered") at Caffeine & Machine's The Hill venue near Stratford-upon-Avon, England. As always, there was plenty of variety in the vehicles on show with everything from classic hot hatchbacks to slammed saloons.

Highlights video and gallery of a car meeting at Kingsley Cafe themed around retro racers. In attendance was a Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Evo, Peugeot 206 GTI, Caterham, Peugeot 106 Rallye, and others, as well as more modern cars such as Porsche 911s, a GR Yaris, a Honda Civic Type-R, a Lamborghini Huracan Performante and more.

Kingsley Cafe Pocket Rockets Hot Hatch Meet - 11th February 2024

A hot hatchback meeting at Kingsley Cafe in Eynsham, Oxfordshire saw a decent turnout of cars (which was not limited to hot hatches). Ford had a fine showing with several Fiestas and Focuses, as did VW with a few fast Golfs. A previous generation Civic Type-R FK8 complimented my FL5 model but, outside of the hatchback there were a couple of Nissan GT-Rs, an Aston Martin, Porsche 911 and more.
